About the Chamber

The Elbert County Chamber of Commerce represents several hundred businesses and individuals united in a partnership of progress where the exchange of ideas and shared resources makes a difference in our community.

The Elbert County Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, not-for-profit, private corporation that acts as a central agency to improve the business environment and build a better community for everyone to live, work and prosper.

What Does the Chamber Do for the Community?

Provides a free mobile app called Explore Elberton to guide visitors and residents to Elbert County’s best businesses, organizations, attractions and events.

Refers local businesses and nonprofits to the public and recommends places to stay, restaurants, activities and places of interest.

Provides a Visitor Guide that showcases Elbert County’s many attractions. The Chamber is also creating updated community maps.

Hosts annual community events such as the Twilight Stroll 5K, annual Chamber Banquet, Granite Bowl Blast Fireworks show, Elberton Christmas Parade and more.

Distributes a weekly email newsletter to publicize events, job openings, and other Elbert County information.

Chamber Mission

The mission of the Elbert County Chamber is to promote commerce, tourism, and growth that enhances our visitors’ experiences and the quality of life in our community.

Produces updated brochures highlighting Elbert County attractions and maintains brochures and information for Elbert County and surrounding areas.

Is developing a charitable nonprofit foundation to support other nonprofits and the community.

Participates with regional Chambers and thought leaders to enhance the entire region, not just Elbert County.

Ambassadors

The Elbert County Chamber Ambassadors act as an extension of the Chamber to welcome guests and new members, strengthen membership, connect businesses, and enhance understanding of what the Chamber offers to its members. Ambassadors are also active in attending ribbon cuttings and Chamber events.
