Part of the Savannah River System, Lake Russell is a pristine oasis separating Northeast Georgia from South Carolina’s High Country. Easily accessible from 1-85 and 1-20, Lake Russell boasts several ramps including Richard B. Russell State Park’s Mega Ramp. The Mega Ramp can handle 6 boat launches at a time while providing plenty of room for (safe and secure!) parking as well as vendors. The State Park regularly hosts Bass tournaments of 200-250 boats and is capable of handling both smaller and larger size tournaments.

With minimal boat traffic on the lake, 40+ lodging options within 50 miles, and the thriving community of Elberton, Georgia just down the road…Lake Russell is the perfect choice for your next Bass Tournament.
