You don’t want to miss the seventh annual Friends Helping Friends Jam Fest & Taste of Elberton on Saturday, August 24 at the ROC building at First Baptist Church Elberton from 6:00 to 8:00 pm!. State Representative Tom McCall and his daughter Katie Archer will auction off cakes. We will auction off a football signed by Mecole Hardman and Kirby Smart! Call Mike or Phyllis Thompson at 706-988-0409 to place your bids until 7:45 pm the night of the event. There will also be a Cake Silent Auction with an assortment of delicious cakes and vouchers available so bring your sweet tooth along with your family and friends! The inspirational concert will feature First Baptist Church Praise Team and First United Methodist Church Praise Team. While dining at the delicious food court prepared by local restaurants and caterers, enjoy wonderful entertainment provided by local musicians & vocalists. Gary Purvis is serving as concert coordinator. Elberton Net will video/air the event. No cost to attend. Donations will be accepted.
